We’re the same company, with a different name. Here’s the story behind the rebrand from Sita Engling Hair and Makeup to Beauty Tribe.
I’m so excited to share with you the meaning and purpose behind our new name, which we deeply resonate with, and I hope you love it as much as we do.
When I first started my company as ‘Sita Engling Hair and Makeup’, I was a one-man band. However, over the years, I discovered I was frequently facing the same challenge of having to turn away large or same day bookings, as well as needing to find new artists to assist me. This became particularly challenging during busy periods such as wedding season. I desired a streamlined solution that would enable me to effectively manage these situations, provide enhanced service to my clients, and offer my trained supporting artists more opportunities to work while also having an extra pair of hands available when necessary.
I have gradually grown a team and I’m grateful to have some incredibly talented artists working by my side. However, now I’m running a tribe, so to speak, my name no longer reflected the growth and how my business has evolved over the years.
Now, Beauty Tribe represents a network of talented beauty specialists that all work under one roof, saving our clients time and stress. Our clients can feel rest-assured knowing there will always be someone who can show up at their appointment. Often clients need to search for multiple different artists to complete their hair and makeup for either their special occasion, bridal party, company portrait photoshoots or further group shots. This is not only stressful for clients, but it leads to an incohesive end result (aka not a good look).
The name Beauty Tribe is both literal and metaphorical. In its literal sense, there is a team of hair and beauty specialists to help achieve your look with our combined services. Our ‘tribe’ are ready to make you feel fabulous and confident.
In the more metaphorical sense, the name stands for empowerment, with the aim to make our clients feel confident and beautiful in their own skin when they choose us. We now represent a collective of luxury hair and makeup stylists who have come together with the mission to support one another and make you feel confident on your special day, or any other occasion.
The new name breathes empowerment and strength, while embodying all of the talented hair and makeup stylists we have in our Beauty Tribe team.
