We use mainly MAC in our kits but have a few products that I prefer from other brands such as Smashbox Cosmetics, Blinc and Bobbi Brown.
Yes, we absolutely can! we are a team of artists, so no group is too big or small.
For the bride it takes 2 hours (or 1 hour for makeup or hair only) and for bridesmaids, guests, special occasions and school balls it takes 1.5 hours for hair and makeup (or 45 mins for makeup or hair only). We like to allow an extra 30 minutes for larger bookings to include 10 minutes for set up and 20 minutes for hair and makeup touch-ups at the end. Makeup lessons range from 1 – 2.5 hours depending on the chosen lesson.
Most definitely! We usually use individual cluster lashes as they are long lasting, comfortable and can be applied as natural or dramatic as you like.
We can travel anywhere within New Zealand. Travel is free of charge within Tauranga central. For bookings 20km-200km outside of Tauranga there is a fee of 95 cents per km, which is the recommended IRD rate. For travel over 200kms the fee is $1 per kilometre including any accommodation costs. Please send us a message with your booking requirements so we can send you a quote.
Yes, our studio is based in The Beauty HQ, 276 Maunganui Road, Mount Maunganui. Since we are often away for mobile work, bookings are essential.
Please wash your hair the evening before (shampoo twice and condition) so it is clean and dry on the day and have nothing but moisturiser on your face. If you have a certain look in mind please have images of the styles you would like so we can use these as a reference on the day.
We use high quality, long lasting and waterproof products to ensure your makeup will last all day and well into the night. The only thing you may need to reapply after eating and drinking is your lipstick, so you will be provided with a small touch up kit which includes your chosen lippy colour.
We recommend booking your bridal preview in 3-4 weeks out from your wedding date as this way your hair length, colour and skin condition will be similar for a truer preview.
