sita / the founder
Hi, I’m Sita, an award-winning international hair and makeup artist based out of Tauranga. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, I have worked in various fields ranging from fashion, editorial, weddings, education, advertising, and beauty. My passion lies in making you feel and look your best, with a team of incredibly talented hair and makeup artists by my side.
I was previously based in London and Austria where I worked as a Product Specialist for MAC Cosmetics and have had the pleasure of collaborating with leading designers including Trelise Cooper, Moochi, Repertoire and Adrienne Winklemann. My work has also been featured in top magazines and blogs such as New Zealand Weddings, Together Journal and Magnolia Rouge.

Fueled by her love for beauty and all things weddings Alaina is one of our amazing head artists. With 10+ years of industry experience, winning awards, such as beauty advisor of the year and her calming presence makes us proud to have her in the tribe. Her passion for beautiful makeup and amazing client service is second to none.
Martha is one of our extremely talented head artists, with a passion for everything makeup since a young age and over 6 years of experience in the industry. She started her career at Mecca Maxima where she grew into the talented artist we are lucky enough to have as part of the tribe. Her past experience lies in fashion, runway, bridal makeup and special occasions.
Lissy / mua & hair stylist
Lissy has spent 10+ years behind the chair and as one of Beauty Tribes head artists for the past 3 years you can be sure she knows her stuff when it comes to all things hair and makeup! We love Lissy’s passion for what she does, her fun loving personality that will make your getting ready experience just that little bit more fun and always going the extra mile to make anyone in her chair feel extra special.

Gabi has so much natural talent, we feel pretty lucky to have her in our corner. She has been working 4+ years in the industry with her career starting out as an artist for Sisters & Co here in Mount Maunganui. Her makeup style is best described as elegant, soft and minimalistic. Gabi knows the makeup world is ever-changing and in her spare time you will find her learning and trying different techniques, products and styles.
Introducing Jina! With over 15 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, specializing in makeup artistry and skin health, Jina is deeply passionate about enhancing natural beauty. Beginning her journey with renowned brands like Shiseido and Lancôme, she has evolved her craft as an Artist at Mecca and a Skin & Laser Therapist at Fade. We are beyond proud to have the amazing Jina as part of the team.

We offer makeup and hairstyling for all special occasions – weddings, balls, events, right through to editorial work, photoshoots or providing lessons on our craft. We’ve got your beauty needs covered!
